PRP is a process that promotes growth-factors by extracting plasma from your blood!  It is the perfect solution to stimulate cellular regeneration and increase collagen and elastin in the skin. The result is healthier, firmer skin tissue.

PRP can be either injected into the skin or used during your micro-needling session. This powerful regenerative serum, or ‘liquid gold,’ will boost your treatment results and accelerate healing. Completing a series of 3 once-a-month treatments is recommended for optimal results!

Hair Restoration with PRP

The fantastic benefits of PRP can also be used to promote active hair growth. The powerful combination of natural growth factors from PRP is injected into your scalp, stimulating the stem cells and other cells in the hair follicle’s microenvironment, ultimately improving the hair follicles’ health.  The primary purpose of using PRP in hair restoration is to stimulate inactive hair follicles into an active growth phase and grow thicker, healthier individual strands of hair.

You will need 3-4 treatments every 4-6 weeks to allow the hair to grow. Optimum results can be achieved over 4-9 months, with continued maintenance every 6-12 months.

Pre-Injection Tips to reduce swelling and bruising

Prior to your procedure:

Stop the following supplements, Vitamin E, Fish Oil, and all supplements that start with a ‘G’ (ginseng, ginkgo biloba, garlic, etc.).

NO aspirin (unless prescribed by your physician), and NO Ibuprofen at least 3-5 days prior to your procedure.

Begin taking Arnica Montana 3-5 days before your procedure.

Eat fresh pineapple. The bromelain enzyme found in pineapple has been linked to decrease swelling, bruising, and reduced healing time.

Avoid alcoholic beverages at least 24 hours before the procedure.

HYDRATE very well for 24 hours before your appointment and on the day of the procedure for ease of blood draw.
